Obituary for Gloria Ann Nixon
Gloria A. Nixon, 78, of Curwensville, passed away early Monday morning March 26, 2018 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.
Born December 24, 1939 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Francis “Tuffy” Larson and Margaret (Durany) Larson Zemba. Mrs. Nixon was a homemaker and a member of St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville.
Gloria was loved by all that knew her. She loved sitting on her porch in the summer and visiting with friends and family. Her grandsons were her pride and joy.She will be greatly missed by them. .
On December 24 1980 she wed William D. Nixon in the state of Georgia, who survives, along with a son Joseph Zemba and daughter-in-law Doris of Curwensville. Also surviving are 2 grandsons Brian and Jacob Zemba of Curwensville and a brother Lyle Larson and sister-in-law Patricia of Curwensville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a stepfather Joseph Zemba a son Kevin Trulik, a sister Nancy Dallen and a nephew Michael Larson
Funeral Services for Mrs. Nixon will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Thursday March 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM, with Deacon Mr. Anthony Indelicato officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 Noon utill time of services at 2:00 PM.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Clearfield County S.P.C.A. 275 21st Street Clearfield, PA 16830.
