Olanta: Alice R. Price, 92, of Olanta passed away Monday November 25, 2024 after a lengthy illness.
Born May 29, 1932 in Kellytown, she was the daughter of Fredolph G. and Clara (Curry) Malmberg. She was a homemaker.
Alice enjoyed her family especially family gatherings and picnics. She loved yardwork and planting flowers. She enjoyed Las Vegas and going to casinos. She loved dancing especially polka and square dancing. And enjoyed going out to eat.
She is survived by seven daughters Sandy Waite of Olanta, Debbie Vaughn of Curwensville, Bobbi Ertmer (Tom) of Curwensville, Doreen Fox of Olanta, Patty Richter (Rick) of Lake Lure, NC, Janice Sarno (Steve) of Boston MA, and Jeanne Hatten (Terry) of Latrobe, PA. 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. 2 sisters Betty Rowles (Arnie) of Bristol, OH, and Shirley Leibel of Warren, OH.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Price, her parents, sisters Joanne Danvir, Genevieve Bloom. 2 brothers Howard Malburg, and Dan Curry. 2 granddaughters Kristen Desmett, and Tricia Desmett.
At the request of Ms. Price there will be no public viewing or services. A celebration of life service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in the Bloomington Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Orphans of the Storm 412 Hill St. Curwensville, PA 16833, or Clearfield County SPCA 275 21st St. Clearfield, PA 16830.
