Obituary for Ann Louise Witherow
Ann Louise Witherow, 92, of Clearfield, passed away Wednesday March 14, 2012 at her residence.
Born February 14, 1920 in Hepburnia, Penn Township, she was the daughter of Albert and Sophie (Rogers) Radzieta. Mrs. Witherow was a homemaker, had been a member of the PTA, and had collected for the American Cancer Society in Knox Township.
In April of 1940 she wed Raymond Witherow who preceded her in death on June 8, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Joyce Witherow Kavelak, a sister Marcella Kavelak, and 6 brothers John, Carl, Leo, Albert Jr., Herman, and Walter.
Surviving are 2 daughters and a son. Joan Camberg and husband John “Jack” of Altoona, Judy Gilliland of Woodstock, CT, and Daniel Witherow and wife Betsey of New Millport. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a sister-in-law Louise Radzieta of Hepburnia.
At the request of Mrs. Witherow there was no public visitation and private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family with Mr. Robert Socash officiating. Interment was in the Fruit Hill Cemetery, New Millport.
The family suggests contributions be made to either the American Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
