Obituary for Arnold H. "Bud" Larson
Arnold H. “Bud” Larson, 75, of Glen Richey, passed away Thursday May 27, 2010, at his residence, after a lengthy illness

Born January 4, 1935 in Olanta RD, Pike Township, he was the son of A. Henry and Liza Mae (Rowles) Larson.  He was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Al Hamilton Contracting and was also a carpenter.  He was a member of the Glen Richey Presbyterian Church. He was a life member of the Glen Richey Volunteer Fire Company, a member of the Clearfield Masonic F&AM #314, and the Central District Volunteer Firemen’s Association.  He also served in the U.S. Army.

On March 27, 1959 in Curwensville he wed Billie J. Hudson who survives along with 3 children Tracy Ann Brubaker and her husband Bryan of Clearfield, Thomas Eric Larson and his wife Robin of West Decatur, and Kenneth Paul Larson of North Charleston, S.C.  also surviving are 8 Grandchildren, a great grandson, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.   Barbara Graham and her husband Raymond of Clearfield, Andrew Larson of Philipsburg, Edith Keith and her husband Ernest of Ephrata, PA, and David Larson and his wife Peggy of Clearfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister Darlene Larson.

Services for Mr. Larson will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc of Curwensville on Saturday May 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Duane Stiner and Rev. Samuel Maines co-officiating. Interment will follow in the Thompson Cemetery, Glen Richey.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday May 28, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM and on Saturday from 9 AM till the time of services at 11 AM.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society Clearfield Chapter 26 S. 2nd St Clearfield, PA 16830, the Orphans of the Storm c/o 412 Hill Street Curwensville, PA 16833, or the Glen Richey Volunteer Fire Co. 86 Firehouse Road, Glen Richey, PA 16837.
