Arthur L. “Art” Bickel
Grampian: Arthur L. “Art” Bickel, 80, of Grampian passed away Monday March 9, 2026.
Born December 1, 1945 in Clearfield he was the son of Lewis and Mary (Ruane) Bickel. He was a United States Army Veteran. He had worked as a truck driver and a heavy equipment operator. He belonged to numerous social clubs in Curwensville and DuBois.
On January 2, 1970 he wed Barbara E. (Hile) Bickel who preceded him in death on December 10, 2025. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Jack Bickel.
He is survived by nieces Amy Thomas, and Jennifer Grigsby both of SC, Heather Gourley of OH, and nephew Justin Bickel of Luthersburg. And his beloved dog Nicky.
Honoring Art’s wishes, there will be no public services.
