Barbara Ann Julie Himes
Barbara Ann Himes Julie 78, of Hyde passed away Wednesday June 22, 2016 at Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born May 21, 1938 in Sigel, PA she was the daughter of John and Olive Leona (Edeburn) Himes. She had worked as a waitress at Pizza Hut and Clearfield Truck Stops for many years. She was a former member of Cherry Corner Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher. She had been attending Hyde Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her husband Bryan Julie of Hyde, 5 children Mandy S. Redden and her husband James of Curwensville, William Herbert “Herbie” Scribe of Greensburg, Kelly Lou Lord and her husband Glenn of Curwensville, Joseph John Scribe of Hyde, and Samuel Ray Scribe and his wife Angel of Curwensville, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A brother Randy Himes and his wife Betty of Indiana County, and her dog Spike.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband William H. Scribe Sr., brothers John and Sam Himes, and a sister Wanda Daugherty.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Julie will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday June 25, 2016 at 2 PM with Pastor Stevan Sheets officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday June 25, 2016 from 12-2 PM.
