Grampian: Beatrice A. Cooper 86 of Grampian passed away Monday February 12, 2024 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Born on March 22, 1937 in Renovo she was the daughter of Francis A. and Beatrice I. (Moore) Cohick. She served as Tax Collector of Bloom Township for over 35 years.
She was the last member of her generation.
On July 2, 1955 in Renovo, PA she wed Carl W. Cooper who preceded her in death on January 17, 2021. She was also preceded in death by her parents a son Charles F. Cooper, and a daughter Carlene A. Cooper, a brother David F. Cohick and an infant sister Joan M. Cohick.
She is survived by a daughter Joan Pentz (Keith) of Chestnut Grove, Grampian, PA. 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
Private Funeral Services will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc of Curwensville with Pastor Paul Sheets officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Bonaventure’s Cemetery.
