Obituary for Beth Elaine Rebon
Beth Elaine Lezzer Rebon, 71, of Curwensville, passed away Friday January 7, 2011 at the Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus.

Born November 4, 1939 in Bradford, PA, she was the daughter of Harvey and Ruth (Keesler) Newton.  Mrs. Rebon was a homemaker, and had worked in the Curwensville Area High School Cafeteria until 1989.  She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Curwensville and the Curwensville Women of the Moose.

She was first wed to  Richard N. Lezzer who preceded her in death on October 16, 1986.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and 2 brother-in-laws Walter Coldren and James Blum.

She then wed Robert R. Rebon on April 29, 1989 who survives along with 2 sons.  Robert Lezzer and his wife Holly and Edward Lezzer both of Curwensville. 

Also surviving are 7 grandchildren: Paige, Brian, Jordan, Olivia, and Cole Lezzer and Tyler and Tanner Lezzer, 3 brothers and 4 sisters: Richard Newton and wife Annabelle of Bradford, Lynn Newton  and wife Billie of Mesquite, NV, Rodney Newton and wife Elaine of Smethport, Barbara Frank and husband Lynn of Clearfield, Mary Jane Coldron of Murrysville, Nancy Blum of Warren, and Sandy Clancy and husband Ed of Bradford, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Rebon will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Monday January10, 2011 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Richard Steuernagle officiating.  Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.

Friends will be received at the Funeral Home on Sunday January 9, 2011 from 5 to 8 PM, and Monday from 11 AM until time of services.

The family suggests contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
