Obituary for Beverly Marilyn Knepp
Beverly Marilyn Knepp, 82, a resident of Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center and formerly of Olanta, passed away Tuesday March 13, 2018 at Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital.
Born April 14, 1935 in Saxton, she was the daughter of Paul Jennings and Eloise Margaretta (Bollinger) Dickinson. Mrs. Knepp was a homemaker and had also worked at the former Royal Nine Motel in Clearfield as a housekeeper.
On August 30, 1952 she wed Robert Russell Knepp Sr., who preceded her in death in October 26, 1978. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Isaac Baer, a great grandson Jeremy Davis, a sister Faye Dickinson and 2 half -brothers Frank and James Dickinson.
Surviving are six children: Robert Russell Knepp Jr. of Olanta, Kay Rosalee Kline and husband Kevin of Elysburg, Linda Marshall and husband Michael of Coral, Marilyn Biren and husband Marc of Mesa, AZ, Helen Elizabeth Knepp of Rancho Cordova, CA, and Mary Beth Barr of Clearfield.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a great great granddaughter and a sister Kova Shimmel and husband Larry of Olanta.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Knepp will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday March 17, 2018 at 2:00 PM, with the Reverend Kevin Kline officiating. Interment will be in the Williams Cemetery in New Millport.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday March 16, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and again on Friday from12:30 PM until time of services at 2:00 PM.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation of Western Pennsylvania 575 Lincoln Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15202.
