Obituary for Blair LeRoy Proud
Blair LeRoy Proud, 76, of Bloomington, passed away Wednesday July 13, 2022 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.
Born March 26, 1946 in Clearfield, he was the son of Gordon Lee and Alice M. (Norris) Proud. Mr. Proud was retired from the Pine Grove Nursery in Glen Richey. He was a member of the primitive Methodist Church in Glen Richey and a member of the Glen Richey VFC Station Seven.
Surviving are two siblings: Irene Sipes and husband Leland and Glenn E. Proud both of Curwensville; four nephews: Eric and Jason Proud and Leland and Randy Sipes; and seven great nieces and great nephews: Nate, Nick, Gage, Gavin, Addy, Colby, and Caleb.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Alvin Proud.
Services for Blair Proud will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Sunday July 17, 2022 at 4:00 PM, with Reverend John F. White officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Curwensville.
Family and friends will b received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM until time of services at 4:00 PM.
