Carol Wisor
BATH,PA – Carol Ann (Miller) Wisor, 80, of Bath, formerly of New Millport, passed away Sunday March 16, 2025 at home after a long battle with COPD.
Born on October 12, 1944 in Buffalo,NY, she was the daughter of Clarence and Ethel (Friemuth) Miller. She worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in Buffalo, JCPenney and Bayer Clothing in Clearfield.
On April 3, 1965 in Buffalo, NY she wed the love of her life, William R. Wisor, who passed in November 2020. She is survived by her children: Wendy and husband Jason Hartzell of Danielsville, and Bill Wisor, Jr. of Delmar, MD; two grandchildren, Ryan Hartzell and fiancé Alexandra Gwillim of Lakewood, CO and Katy Hartzell, at home; two brothers, Paul and Maria Miller of Pisek, Czechia and Donald and Judy Miller of West Seneca, NY.
Carol had a special bond with her sister-in-law, Linda McCracken, Lumber City and friend, Marilynn Gardlock, Olanta who shared many of life’s ups and downs and were always just a phone call away. Special thanks to the doctors and hospice professionals who helped care for Carol over the years.
Carol was a kind, caring, loving mother, grandmother and friend who was always positive and gave great life advice. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, doing word puzzles, watching her favorite shows, game nights, taco parties and doughnuts. Carol was a bright light who will be missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 2 pm with the Rev. M. Bruce Dimmick officiating. Interment will be in Lumber City Cemetery.
