Obituary for Catelynn Clair Fleming
Catelynn Clair Fleming, 29, of Pittsburgh, and formerly of Curwensville, passed away Wednesday January 19, 2022 at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Born October 16, 1992 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Jeff Clair “Flint” Fleming and Tammy Lynn (Kephart) Fleming Caber. She was employed by Pittsburgh Mercy Behavioral Health Center in Pittsburgh as an Employment Specialist.
She was a graduate of Curwensville Area High School, received her Bachelor’s Degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and her Master’s Degree from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. She was a member of Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority, was a volunteer for C.O.R.E (Center for Organ Retrieval and Education) in Pittsburgh and also Volunteered at Camp Chihopi for children who have received transplants.
Surviving is her mother and stepfather Daniel Caber of Curwensville, a twin brother Kyle Fleming of Pittsburgh, her Maternal Grandfather David Kephart of Curwensville, her Fiancée Tabitha Punger of Pittsburgh, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, her Paternal Grandparents Thomas and Cora Fleming and her Maternal Grandmother Edith “Mickey” Kephart.
Funeral Services for Catelynn Fleming will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Monday January 24, 2022 at 10:00 AM, with Reverend Father Stephen Collins officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday January 23, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, and again on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of services at 10:00 AM.
Masks are recommended at both the visitations and funeral service.
