Dubois: Cecelia A. Turner 91, a resident of Dubois Nursing Home passed away Thursday November 24, 2016.
Born December 23, 1924 in Brookville, she was the daughter of Henry and Viola May (Vandervort) Siebenrock. She attended St. Francis Catholic School. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed crocheting, county fairs, country music and reading.
On October 23, 1946 in Staunton, VA she wed William A. Turner who preceded her in death in April of 1965. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son Thomas A. Turner, and 2 brothers William and Vincent Siebenrock.
She is survived by a son Timothy H. Turner and his wife Susan of DuBois. Special nieces and nephews Eileen Hoover, Kathryn Deaver, Jerome Siebenrock, Paul Siebenrock, and Mary Anne Szeluga.
She was the last member of her generation.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Turner will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Monday November 28, 2016 at 1 PM with Pastor Rick Howe officiating. Interment will be held in the Friends Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the Funeral Home on Monday from 11 AM till the time of services at 1 PM.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the DuBois Continuum of Care, 212 S. 8th St., DuBois, PA 15801
