Charlene Faye Ballute, 63, of Curwensville, passed away early morning, November 24, 2010 at her residence.
Born October 16, 1947 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Charles and Alma (Mains) Hauck. Mrs. Ballute was a homemaker and a member of St. Timothy’s Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville.
On January 23, 1967 in Clearfield, she wed David J. Ballute who survives along with 2 children; Tammy Coudriet of Clearfield and Douglas Ballute of Curwensville. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren Steven Dunn Janelle Renee’ Wallace, Brandon Sass, and John Coudriet II, as well as a sister Judy McQuillen and her husband Clyde of Clearfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Sonya Ballute Rea, and 2 brothers Woodrow and June Swoope.
Services for Mrs. Ballute will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville, on Monday November 29, 2010 at 10:00 A.M., with the Reverend Father Mark J. Mastrian officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday November 27 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M., and Monday from 9:00 AM until time of services.
