Charles F. “Chuck” Taylor
Clearfield: Charles F. “Chuck” Taylor Jr. 81, of Curwensville passed away Wednesday February 8, 2023 at Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born February 11, 1941 in Curwensville he was the son of Charles F. Taylor Sr. and Mary Rider. He was a 1958 graduate of Curwensville Area High School. He attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Morrisdale.
He retired after 45 years of service from Local IBEW 760 Knoxville TN as an electrician.
On November 20, 1987 he wed Carol (Turner) Taylor who survives along with 7 children Timothy Morrison of OH, Tad Morrison of N.C., Suzanne Taylor of Curwensville, Charles F. “Chuck” Taylor III of Grampian, Connie King of MN, Stephen Kress (Jennifer) TN, Chris Kress (Terrie) of Maryland. 7 grand children Lindsey Morrison, Rachel Sanford (Gray), Rylee Wiggins, Nicole Mullinax (Josh), Matthew Kress (Ashley), Jennifer Shirey (Matt), Melissa Dasher (Mickey). 12 grandchildren. A brother William “Bill” Taylor (Carol) of Curwensville. And numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brothers Jack Taylor and Thomas E. Taylor Sr. Sisters Ruth Patterson, and Nancy Irwin. A grandson Nicholas Irvin and a granddaughter Amanda Lutt.
At the request of Mr. Taylor there will be no public services. Private services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
