Obituary for Charles Robert Komonczi
Charles Robert Komonczi, 65, of Curwensville, passed away Saturday April 16, 2016 at the Reading Medical Center in Reading, PA.Â

Born March 9, 1951 in Clearfield, he was the son of Francis and Nanette (Hetrick) Komonczi. He was Baptist by faith, was baptized on August 18, 2014 and was a member of Bells Landing Baptist Church. He worked for Curwensville Feed Store in his younger years and was a retired truck driver having worked for various companies for over 40 years.

On September 26, 1970 he wed the former Eva Jean Redden who survives along with four children: Holly Komonczi of Curwensville, Paula Halulko and her husband John of Reading, Shelly Livergood and her husband Gregory of Maryland, and Michael Komonczi and his wife Jessica of Curwensville. Also surviving are seven grandchildren  Danny, Aidan, Nathan, Ava, Nolan, Elodie and Jobin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother David Komonczi, and a sister Nannette Walters.

Funeral Services for Mr. Komonczi will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Thursday April 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. M. Bruce Dimmick officiating.

Friends will be received at the Funeral Home on Wednesday April 20, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM and on Thursday from 10 AM till the time of services at 11 AM.
