Obituary for Clara R. Seaburn
Clara R. Seaburn, 86, a resident of Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield and formerly of Clearfield and Anderson, IN, passed away Wednesday January 23, 2013 at the Nursing Center.
 
Born May 5, 1926 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of John (Bert) and Carrie (Burns) Ruffner.  She was retired from Warner Press in Anderson, Indiana in 1990 after 34 years of service.  She enjoyed crafting and had help with crafting programs at Ridgeview Elder Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
 
She wed Blair Seaburn on January 2, 1951 and who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters Helen Cutler and Nadine Nebgen and a brother John Ruffner.
 
Surviving are 3 sisters Lois Rowles and husband Ted of Mineral Springs, Kathryn Black of Altoona, and Sandy Ogden of Hyde as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral Services for Mrs. Seaburn will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Saturday January 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Stephen Shields officiating.  Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde, PA.
 
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of services at 11 AM
 
The family suggests contributions be made to either the Meals of Wheels Program at the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, the American Cancer Society, or the Community Care Group of Ridgeview Elder Care.
