Obituary for Della Marie Hoffman
Della Marie Hoffman, 87, a resident of Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield, and formerly of South Philipsburg and Karthaus, passed away early Wednesday morning February 7, 2018 after a lengthy illness.
Born August 23, 1930 in Karthaus, she was the daughter of Paul and Marie (Repasky) Hoffman. Della had worked for the former DuMont Electronics, had been a cook at the former Clear Haven Nursing Home, and was retired from Nevasky Clothing Company. She was affiliated with the Sheppard of the Hills Lutheran Church in Karthaus.
Surviving is a son Robert “Red” Hoffman of Philipsburg, two brothers William Hoffman and wife Donna of Moshannon and Paul Hoffman Jr. and wife Kate of Karthaus as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter Ann Marie Hoffman, a sister Grace Kelly, a brother George Hoffman and a niece Evonne Snedden.
There will be no public visitation.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Karthaus, PA.
