Obituary for Doris Marie Ensinger
Doris Marie Ensinger, 73, of Clearfield, passed away Friday March 11, 2022 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
Born July 23, 1948 in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of Marion Halstead and Oleta Margaret (Smith) Williams. Mrs. Ensinger had been a clerk for Goodwill Industries, had delivered “Meals On Wheels” for the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, and was a volunteer for CenClear Child Services Head Start Program. She was a member of the Clearfield First Baptist Church.
On September 16, 1972 in Lykens, PA, she wed George Ensinger who survives along with two sisters and a brother: Ethel McLaughlin of Curwensville, Lester Williams of Clearfield, and Gloria Jean Finberg and husband Robert of Wesley Chapel, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Jacob, John, and Ken Williams; and a sister Nancy Williams.
There will be no public visitation.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Clearfield First Baptist Church * 111 N. Second Street * Clearfield, PA 16830 on Saturday April 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Matt Brown officiating. Interment was in the Hill Crest Cemetery of Clearfield, PA.
