Obituary for Dorothy Marie "Dottie" Hamm
Dorothy Marie “Dottie” Hamm, 70, of Madera, passed away Sunday December 30, 2018 at Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital.
Born April 2, 1948 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Woodrow Coder and Dorothy Hunt Coder Fetzer. Mrs. Hamm was a caregiver and home health nurse and had worked at the former Evergreen Manor in Utahville. She was a member of the Kellytown Union Church in Kellytown..
On February 20, 1965 in Glen Richey, she wed Harry M. “Skip” Hamm who survives along with 2 children; Michael Hamm and wife Paula of Irvona and Christina Carosiello and fiancée Carson O’Neill of Sun River, Oregon; and 3 grandchildren Jennifer Folmar and husband Ben, Finn O’Neill and Keiran O’Neill.
Also surviving are 3 sisters: Joyce Cartwright and husband Dan of Woodland, Cheryl Cutler and husband Fred of Curwensville and Betty Walder and husband Walt of New jersey; a brother Robert Coder of Hyde; and a sister-in-law Betty Finch of Brisbin.
She was pre3ceded in death by her parents, a son Scott Allen Hamm, 3 sisters Bonnie Puit, Norma Desmitt and Dolores Erhard and 2 brothers Fred and Ed Coder.
At the request of Dottie, there will be no public visitation or service.
Interment will be in the Fruit Hill Cemetery near Ansonville.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Kellytown Union Church.
