DuBois: Drew C. McGarry, 80, of Olanta passed away Saturday October 26, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born August 13, 1944 in Clearfield he was the son of Forest and Faye (Pifer) McGarry. He had worked at Howes Leather for 30 years. He was an active member of Curwensville Moose Lodge 268. He held numerous offices within the Lodge and earned the highest degree the Pilgrim Degree. Drew and his wife Jackie traveled to numerous Moose Conventions throughout the years and supported Mooseheart.
Drew loved his family and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was also an avid hunter especially Deer and Turkey. He was affiliated with the First Baptist Church in Curwensville.
Surviving are 5 children Michele McGarry, Dawn McGarry both of Wisconsin, Lynn McGee, Patrick “Rick” Gaul (Nicole) all of Curwensville, and Sandi Wilkie (Jerry) of Ontario, Canada. 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren. A brother Lee McGary (Betty) of Curwensville. A sister-in-law Donna McGarry of Spring Cove. And numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jacqueline Avril “Jackie” McGarry. And a brother Wayne McGarry.
Memorial Service will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Wednesday October 30, 2024 at 4 PM with Rev. Daniel Osterhout officiating.
Friends and Family will be received at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 PM till the time of services at 4 PM.
