Obituary for Elizabeth Christine Fisher
Elizabeth Christine Fisher, 93, a resident of Ridgeview Elder Care in Curwensville, and formerly of Curwensville, passed away Monday September 24, 2012 at Ridgeview.

Born March 31, 1919 in Grampian, she was the daughter of Clark and Dora (Spencer) Taylor. Mrs. Fisher was a homemaker and also was retired from the former Kent’s Sportswear in Curwensville after 21 years of service. She was a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Choir.

She wed Alvin Fisher in 1936 and who preceded her in death in 1984. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter Brenda Sharrer, a brother Milton Taylor and 3 sisters Alice Scott, Genevieve Harman and Louella Selfridge.

Surviving are 2 children Mona Elaine Gaddis of Akron, NY and Gordon Fisher of Curwensville. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and a sister Norma Law of Colorado.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Fisher will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc., of Curwensville on Thursday September 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM, with The Reverend William Walker officiating. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park of Hyde.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 AM until time of services.
