Obituary for Elizabeth Opaliski
Elizabeth Opaliski, 73, of Clearfield, and formerly of Curwensville, passed away Tuesday November 17, 2015 at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, after a lengthy illness.

Born June 24, 1942 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Alec and Leona (Butts) Cochrane. Mrs. Opaliski was a homemaker and was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Clearfield.

On August 5, 1961 in Maryland, she wed Joseph Charles Opaliski who preceded her in death on December 11, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son Thomas and a sister Leona.

Surviving are 5 children: Joseph C. Opaliski Jr. of Tarentum, Lisa Gabriel and husband George of Wexford, and Timothy Opaliski and wife Stephanie, James J Opaliski and wife Jennifer and Dawn Opaliski and Fiancée Sammy Holland all of Curwensville. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Clearfield on Saturday November 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Father Mark J. Mastrian as celebrant.
