Obituary for Ernest Leroy McFarland
Ernest Leroy McFarland, 61, of Clearfield, passed away Thursday March 7, 2013 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
 
Born July 12, 1951 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of Kenneth and Mable (Sharp) McFarland.  Mr. McFarland had been employed by the Harry Sorovo Railroad Company as a Track Foreman.  He was a member of the Clearfield Eagles and the Clearfield L.O.O.M.  
 
Surviving are 2 children Vicki Bratton and Fiancée Richard Jones of Kylertown, and Kenneth McFarland of Clearfield.  Also surviving are 3 granddaughters and 2 sisters.  Kitty Butler and Fiancée Perry Centra of Clearfield and Mabel Mills of Depew, NY. And 2 special friends Cathy and Jeff Leigey.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Nancy.
 
Funeral Services for Mr. McFarland will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. 16 N. Front St. Clearfield on Tuesday March 12, 2013 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Larry Hill officiating.  Interment will be in the Acacia Memorial Park North Tonawanda, NY.
 
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM
