Obituary for Ethel Marie Mayersky
Ethel Marie Mayersky, 80, of Grampian, and formerly of Curwensville, passed away Sunday January 6, 2013 at her residence.

Born December 20, 1932 in Curwensville, she was the daughter of George and Helen (Panko) Mayersky. Ms. Mayersky had been employed first by MacGregor Sportswear of Curwensville, then Kent Sportswear of Clearfield, and then retiring from the Bayer Clothing Group, Fletcherville Plant. She was a member of St. Bonaventure’s Roman Catholic Church in Grampian.

Surviving is a daughter Deborah Faccone and her husband Arthur of Curwensville, 4 grandchildren Christine Kavelak and husband Tom, Ryan Aughenbaugh and wife Beth, Marti Jo Wilt and companion Doug McCartney, and Jaymi Mayersky, 10 great grandchildren, a sister Marilyn Mayersky of Grampian, and 13 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Martin Mayersky, an infant son Jerry Mayersky, an infant great grandson Alex Kavelak, and 3 sisters Sylvia Donahue, Patricia Green, and Rita Wilkinson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Roman Catholic Church in Grampian on Wednesday January 9, 2013 at 10:00 AM, with the Reverend Father Mark J. Mastrian as celebrant. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde, PA

Friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 PM and again on Wednesday morning from 9 until 9:30 when the procession will depart for the church.

The Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 5:30 PM and the Scripture Vigil Services will be conducted at 8:00 PM Tuesday both at the funeral home.

The family suggests contributions be made to either the American cancer Society, the DRMC Hospice Program, or St. Bonaventure’s Church.
