Born February 24, 1946 in Lumber City, he was the son of Moses and Elizabeth (Hickok) Norris. Mr. Norris was an electrician by trade, first working for the former Harbison-Walker Refractories in Clearfield and then retiring from Appalachian Wood Products in Clearfield in 2005. Mr. Norris was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time at the Norris Family Camp “The Taj Mahal”.
On April 9, 1983 he wed the former Paula Marie Irwin who preceded him in death in August of 2013. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a son Jeffrey Norris.
Surviving are three children: Kimberly Reyan of Everett, Frank T. Norris and wife Tiffany of Curwensville, and Trent Norris and his significant other Ashlee Freeman of Clearfield; and two grandchildren Michael and Madilynne.
Also surviving are seven siblings: Marsha Long and husband John and Jan Graham and husband Roy both of Clearfield; Carol Ann “Con” Maney, Deb Petrone and husband “Pete” and Dennis “Rack” Norris, all of Curwensville; Moses “Sonny” Norris and wife Barbara of Westover; and Jeff Norris of Coalport; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Frank Norris will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Friday January 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM, with Reverend Stephen D. Shields officiating. Interment will be in the Stoneville Cemetery of Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday January 6 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, and Friday from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM.
