Obituary for Franklin Allen Dolan
Franklin Allen Dolan, 765, of Hyde, passed away Wednesday May 1, 2013 at his residence.
 
Born September 5, 1936 in Walker Township, Centre County, PA, he was the son of Harold E. and Ethel (Wolfe) Dolan.  Mr. Dolan had been employed by Cerro Brass and Metal in Bellefonte for 37 ½ years.  He was a USMC veteran and was a former member of the Howard American Legion, the Bellefonte L.O.O.M. and the Clearfield Eagles.
 
On December 18, 1993 in Bellefonte he wed the former Mona Lee Malinky who survives along with 2 children and 2 step children Karen Dolan and Todd Dolan both of Howard, Gerald Flick of Hyde and Ramona Flick of Mineral Springs.
 
Also surviving are 4 grandchildren Gracie Smith, Brandy Carfley, Lynn and Jeff Smith, and 2 brothers Russell Dolan and Neven Dolan and wife Chris both of Howard.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents.
 
At the request of Mr. Dolan there will be no public visitation and private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
