Hepburnia: Frederick E. “Bucky” Seaburn, 87, of Hepburnia, passed away Monday February 29, 2016 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Born July 12, 1928 in Curwensville, he was the son of Lewis and Bertha (Rittmyer) Seaburn. Mr. Seaburn was a self-employed carpenter, was a U S Army veteran of World War II, and was protestant.
On January 22, 1949 in Hagerstown, MD he wed the former Lois E. Knepp who survives along with 2 daughters, Sharon Lockhart and husband Jerry of Fairmount, IL and Sharlet Nestlerode and husband Pat of Grampian.
Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Lewis Seaburn of CO, Julia Shaffer and husband Lester of Clearfield, Jane Hoover and husband Richard and Richard Seaburn and wife Janet both of Curwensville and Barbara Seaburn of VA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 daughters Sheila Seaburn and Shelly McGee, and infant daughter, 2 brothers Donald and Thomas, and 2 sisters Geraldine Condon and Anna Lou Briskar.
There will be no public visitation.
Private Memorial Services will be held at the convenience of the family, at a later date.
