Obituary for Frederick Kenneth Kester
Frederick Kenneth “Fred” Kester, 76, a guest at Windy Hill Village, and formerly of Curry Run, Mahaffey, passed away Sunday June 11, 2017 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College.
Born July 15, 1940 in Clearfield, he was the son of Lex Frederick and Helen Emma (Richards) Kester. Mr. Kester was a self-employed auto tire salesman. He was a U S Army Veteran of the Vietnam War Era and was a 1959 graduate of Curwensville Area High School.
Surviving is a daughter Kathi Reynolds and her husband Mark and a grand-daughter Lindsey all of Julian and a brother Donald Kester and his wife Helen of Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brothers Barry and Gary Kester.
There will be no public visitation and funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde, PA.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Curry Run United Methodist Church c/o Pat Sheesley 73 Rich Lane Mahaffey, PA 15757.
