Obituary for Fred Cutler
Frederick Scherden Cutler, 77, of Curwensville, passed away Saturday January 29, 2022 at Penn Highlands Hospital – DuBois.
Born January 30, 1944 in Clearfield, he was the son of Bud Frederick and Emma Eleanor (Wisor) Cutler. Mr. Cutler was retired as the Maintenance Supervisor at Mr. Laurel Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield. He was a U S Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War.
On June 25, 1975 he wed the former Shirley June Coder who preceded him in death on November 15, 2020. He was also preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ralph Cutler; and sisters: Janice Jury, Sibbie Swoope, and Brenda Brundridge.
Surviving are 5 children: Frederick Cutler Jr., James Cutler and wife Rebecca, and Richard Allen Cutler all of Clearfield; Michael Edward Cutler and wife Jolene of Houtzdale; and Michelle Bernice McLaughlin and husband Jeffrey of Curwensville.
Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and a sister Darlene White and husband Larry of NC.
At the request of Mr. Cutler there will be no public visitation or services. A private gathering will be held at the convenience of the family.
