Obituary for Gene Arthur Pentz
Gene A. Pentz, 55, of Grampian, passed away Wednesday evening June 23, 2010 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born June 13, 1955 in Clearfield, he was the son of Arthur Ellsworth and Sara Ann (Keiser) Pentz. Mr. Pentz had worked for Beckwith Machine for 20+ years, and currently was the owner/operator of G & J Trucking Co. of Grampian. He was affiliated with St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Grampian and was a member of the Curwensville L.O.O.M. #268.
On August 22, 1981 in Grampian, he wed the former Janice R. Weber who survives along with a son and daughter. Kelly Charles Pentz and his wife Stacy and Kilee Ann Pentz both of Grampian along with 2 grandsons Zachary and Alex Pentz.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Friday June 25 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with the Reverend George Canon officiating. Interment will be in the Friends Cemetery, Grampian, PA.
The family suggests contributions be made to either the Hahne Cancer Center DRMC 100 Hospital Avenue DuBois, PAÂ 15801 or the Curwensville Christian Church 700 State St. Curwensville, PA 16833.
