Obituary for Gilbert Gary Gray
Gilbert Gary Gray, 68, of Curwensville, passed away Monday July 18, 2011 at the Clearfield Hospital.

Born June 9, 1943 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Thomas Blackburn and Delores Madeline (Schillinger) Gray. Mr. Gray was a Graphic Art Designer and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.Â

He was a graduate of Kent State University in Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He was also a member of St. Timothy’s Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville and was a 3rd Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus Council 409 in Clearfield.

On March 8, 1963 in Clearfield, he wed the former Helen A. Cathcart who survives along with 3 sisters. Joyce B. Golden and her husband Herbert of Pittsburgh, Rosemary Neal and her husband Bob, of Butler, and Kathleen Osburn and her husband Jerry of Apollo. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Thomas Arthur Gray.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville on Friday July 22, 2011 at 1:30 PM with Reverend Father Mark J. Mastrian as celebrant. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.

There will be no public visitation.
