Obituary for Gladys Eleanor (Hudson) Carfley
Gladys Eleanor (Hudson) Carfley, 73, of Curwensville, passed away Sunday Evening December 13. 2020 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.

Born September 19, 1947 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Charles Henry and Dorothy Mae (Coulter) Hudson. Mrs. Carfley was a seamstress and was retired from the former Kent’s Sportswear in Curwensville after 40 years of service.

On September 30, 1967 she wed Patrick C. “Pat” Carfley Sr. who preceded her in death on September 25, 2019. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother David Hudson.

Surviving is a son Patrick C. “Chuck” Carfley Jr. and his wife Valerie of Osceola Mills and 2 grandchildren Austin and Autumn Carfley. Also surviving are 3 sisters: Dorothy “Dot” Brown and husband John of West Decatur, Billie Larson of Glen Richey and Darlene Levine of Clearfield, and a sister-in-law Sherlene Hudson of Berwinsdale.

There will be no public visitation and private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Thompson Cemetery in Glen Richey.

The family suggests contributions be made to the Clearfield County S.P.C.A. * 275 21st Street * Clearfield, PA 16830.
