Obituary for Gladys M. (Olla) Harris
Gladys Marie “Olla” Harris, 59, of Grampian, passed away Thursday April 14, 2016 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.
Born August 11, 1956 in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of Amelia Fetzer Smeal. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and was United Methodist by faith.
On August 1, 1987 in Glen Richey, she wed William Scott Harris who survives, along with a son William S. Harris Jr. and his fiancée Elizabeth Curry of Grampian, a nephew Mark Harris whom she raised as well as his son Chase Harris.
Also surviving are 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Barbara Gearhart of Bloomington, Greg Smeal of Shawville, Wendy Smeal and husband Benny of Chesterfield, Victor Evans and Jerry Evans and wife Vickey both of Clearfield as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother William Smeal and a sister Cindy Smeal,
Services for Gladys Harris will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Monday April 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Stephen Shields officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday April 17, 2016 from 3 to 6 PM and again on Monday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM.
