Obituary for Glen Kenneth "Bud" Holt Jr.
Glen Kenneth “Bud” Holt Jr., 56, of Glen Richey, passed away Friday July 28, 2017 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
Born November 29, 1960 in Clearfield, he was the son of Glen K. “Ken” Sr. and Ella L. (Shugarts) Holt. Mr. Holt had been a heavy equipment operator having worked for TPS (Purcell) Tire Co., Waroquier Coal Co. and Power Coal Co. He was a 1979 graduate of Clearfield Area High School and was Christian by Faith.
Surviving is his parents of Glen Richey, his wife the former Renee Reams of Morann, a daughter Amber Holt of Clearfield, four sisters Karen Baker Woods and husband Jerry of Bloomington, Sandra Shaffner and husband Steve of Olanta, Sheryl Bloom and husband Scott of West Decatur and Sherry Litzinger and husband Joseph of Curwensville as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Ruth Dolin and Sloan Shugarts and his paternal grandparents James Edward and Nancy Holt.
Graveside Services for “Bud” Holt will be held at the Pine Grove Bethel Cemetery, Glen Richey, on Thursday August 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Mr. Thomas Holt officiating.
The Family suggests contributions be made to either the Orphans of the Storm 412 Hill Street Curwensville, PA 16833 or the Clearfield County S.P.C.A. 275 21st Street Clearfield, PA 16830.
