Obituary for Homer L. Weaver
Homer L. Weaver, 83, of Hyde, passed away Saturday March 26, 2016 at the home of his daughter in Brush Valley Township, Indiana County after a brief illness.

Born July 1, 1932 in Smicksburg, he was the son of Reverend Homer L Sr. and Freda Louise (Cornman) Weaver. Mr. Weaver was a retired linesman for Bell Telephone/Verizon, was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Centre Grove United Methodist Church in Hyde.

He wed the former Gay Waite who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and a brother William.

Surviving are three children: Sharon Kay Jamison and her husband Jeff of Penn Run, Daniel L. Weaver and wife Sheila of Northern Cambria, and Jeannie Lee Karlheim and husband Richard of Carrolltown. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a sister Dorothy Elbel of Punxsutawney, a brother Joseph Weaver and wife Beverly of Blairsville, and a sister-in-law Shirley Weaver of Strongstown.

At the request of Mr. Weaver there will be no public visitation.

Private Graveside Services will be held at the convenience of the family at the North Point Cemetery in North Point, Indiana County with Reverend Duvall officiating.Â

The family suggests contributions be made to the Centre Grove United Methodist Church Village Road Clearfield, PA 16830.
