Obituary for Imojean D. Biel
Imojean Helen Davidson Biel, 86, of Clearfield, and formerly of Sterling, VA, passed away Tuesday January 25, 2022 at the home of her niece, Carrie Tonelli, after a brief illness.
Born March 28, 1935 in Lyleville, Clearfield County, she was the daughter of Thomas Edward and Mildred (Gill) Davidson. Mrs. Biel was retired from the Carlisle Hospital having worked as a secretary and in the administration. She was a 1953 graduate of BCI High School and was a member of the Clearfield County Historical Society. She was Methodist by faith.
In 1966 she wed Bruce E. Biel who preceded her in death in 2018. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving is a sister-in-law Joan Biel from Palmyra, VA, niece Christine Harper and husband Bruce, nephew Steven Biel and wife Marianna both from Virginia; niece Carrie Tonelli of Curwensville and niece Bethanne Garris and husband Michael of Boyds, MD. Also surviving are the Davidson cousins: Richard, Dennis, Donna, Faye and Nancy, and their families and numerous cousins from the Coalport Area.
Funeral Services for Imojean Biel will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday February 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM, with the Reverend Stephen D. Shields officiating. Interment will be in the Burnside Cemetery in Burnside, PA.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM until time of services at 2:00 PM.
