Obituary for James A. Bailor
James A. Bailor, 76, of O’Shanter, passed away Monday February 20, 2012 at his residence.  Born October 2, 1935 in Curwensville, he was the son of Leslie Warren and Anna Mae (Smith) Bailor.  Mr. Bailor was a coal miner having retired from the Glen-Irvine Corp. in Penfield.  He was a U S Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He wed the former Deloris M. Rowles on December 6, 1955 in Clearfield, and who preceded him in death on February 9, 2011.  He was also preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Steven Lines. Surviving are 5 children: James A. Bailor Jr. and wife Tammy and Patricia Boal both of Marion, NC, Leslie Bailor of O’Shanter, John C. Bailor and his partner Doreen Price of Curwensville, and Sandy Maines and her husband Ronald of Osceola Mills, PA. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 4 sisters and a brother.  Janet Grice and husband Lynn “Scoot” of Clearfield, Florence Evanko and husband Joe and Betty Pent both of Curwensville, Dan Bailor and wife Gretchen of New Millport, and Barb Rowles of Rockton. Funeral Services for Mr. Bailor will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 3:00 PM, with the Reverend David Hamilton, officiating.  Interment will be in the Thompson Cemetery of Glen Richey. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until time of services at 3:00 PM. The family suggests contributions be made to the Hospice Circle of Friends, c/o 286 Pauline Drive, Clearfield, PA 16830. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.chidboyfuneralhome.com.  The Chester C.
