Obituary for James William "Brady Bill" Clark
James William “Brady Bill” Clark, 92, a resident of Laurel Brooke Landing Personal Care Residence and formerly of Colorado and Grampian, passed away Thursday January 25, 2018 at Laurel Brooke Landing.

Born February 22, 1925 Grampian, he was the son of Joseph William and Mary Jane (Rafferty) Clark. Mr. Clark was retired as a mason having spent the majority of his working career in Colorado. He was a member of St. Bonaventure Roman Catholic Church where as a young boy served on the altar.

He had served with the US Army during World War II and the U S Air Force during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially enjoyed going to camp.

On November 20, 1958 at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church in Ravenna, OH, he wed the former Irene Rose Cartwright who preceded him in death on July 7, 2007. He was also preceded in death by his parents and 4 sisters: Ann Heidt, Margaret Schurr, Kathryn Diehl and Ethel Wood. He was the last member of his generation.

Surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Roman Catholic Church in Grampian on Monday January 29, 2018 at 10:30 AM, with the Reverend Father L. Stephen Collins as celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Grampian.

Friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Sunday January 28, 2018 from 2 PM to 5 PM and again at the funeral home on Monday from 9 AM until 10 AM, when the procession will depart for the church.

Military Honors will be accorded at the Church by members of the Clearfield Honor Guard.

The Rosary will be recited by members of St. Theresa’s Guild on Sunday at 1:45 PM and a Scripture Vigil will be conducted by Deacon Rev. Mr. Tony Indelicato Sunday at 4:30 PM both at the funeral home.

The family suggests contributions be made to St. Bonaventure Roman Catholic Church c/o 306 Walnut Street Curwensville, PA 16833.
