Janet A. Pittman, 70, of Curwensville, and formerly of the Philadelphia Area, passed away Saturday March 29, 2014 at Ridgeview Elder Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.

Born November 10, 1943 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Harry Morten and Rosemary (Frederick) Kirkhope. Ms. Pittman was a Certified Nursing Assistant having worked in various nursing facilities. She also was a homemaker.

Surviving is her father of Holland, PA, 3 children Amy Murt and Holly Murt both of Bristol, PA and William Murt of Grove City, PA. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren Christina and Jonathan, and a brother Kevin Kirkhope and his wife Kathy of Fairless Hills, PA.

She was preceded in death by her mother, an infant son Michael, a son James and 2 brothers Harry and Robert.

There will be no public visitation and memorial services will be held at the convenience of the familyÂ
