Obituary for Jeanette Violet Caldwell
Jeanette V. Caldwell 88 of Curwensville passed away Saturday February 12, 2011 at her residence.
Born June 23, 1922 in Lumber City she was the daughter of George and Mame (Reed) Caldwell. She had worked for Clear Haven Nursing Home as a Nurses Aide and also was a homemaker. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Bloomington Curwensville RD where she was active in the choir and Senior Saints.
On February 18, 1940 in Curwensville she wed Raymond B. Caldwell who preceded her in death on June 12, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 grandsons Daren Wagner and Brent Buck, a great granddaughter Ashley Nicole Tibbens, son-I]in-law Boyd Dickey, 8 brothers and 6 sisters.
She is survived by 6 children Judith E. Buck and her husband Delmont of FL, Carole Rowles and her husband Terry of Olanta, Terry L. Caldwell and his wife Carol of Curwensville, Delores “Dolly” Wagner and her husband Donald “Chick” of Fallen Timber, Loretta K. Dickey of Bells Landing, and Randy W. Caldwell and his wife Deborah of Dubois.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Caldwell will be held at Community Baptist Church Curwensville-Tyrone Highway Curwensville, on Tuesday February 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Todd T. Hogue officiating. Interment will follow in the Lumber City Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc of Curwensville on Monday February 14, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and at the Church on Tuesday from 10 AM till the time of services at 11 AM.
