Obituary for Jeffery Lynn "Niter" Hamilton
Jeffery Lynn “Niter” Hamilton, 45, of Curwensville RD, passed away Sunday September 6, 2009 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
Born August 11, 1964 in the Clearfield Hospital, he was the son of Jesse J. and Margaret E. (Cullen) Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton was employed by Clearfield Wholesale Paper Co. in Clearfield as a warehouse manager. He participated in the Curwensville Recreation Softball league, the Clearfield Fast Pitch Softball league, had worked on the stage crew at the Clearfield County Fair for the past several years, and was an avid NASCAR Fan.
Surviving is his mother of Curwensville, 2 children, Jennifer Hamilton of Hyde and Justin Hamilton of Grampian, 2 granddaughters Riley Michelle and Janelle Marie King of Hyde, a sister and 5 brothers: Francis “Butch” Hamilton and his wife Toni of Washington State, Robert Hamilton, Barbara Shaffer and her husband Robert “Rob” and Jesse Hamilton Jr. all of Curwensville, David Hamilton and his wife Linda of Grampian, and Dennis “Duckie” Hamilton and his wife Kathie of Hyde.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister Darlene Hamilton.
Services for Mr. Hamilton will be held at the Community Baptist Church, Curwensville RD, on Thursday September 10, 2009 at 2:00 PM, with the Reverend Todd T. Hogue officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery Curwensville RD.
Friends will be receive at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Wednesday September 9 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM, and Thursday at the Church from 12 Noon until time of services.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Community Baptist Church.
