Pittsburgh: Jeffrey D. Rowles 70, of McMurray, PA passed away peacefully with family at his side on Monday January 2, 2023 at West Penn Hospital.
Born July 28, 1952 in Morrisdale, Clearfield County he was the son of Stacy Aaron and Lillian Louise (Taylor) Rowles. He was a graduate of West Branch High School and Williamsport Area Community College
He has attended Gethsemane United Methodist Church in Allport, and was a former member of the Quad County Amateur Radio Club, and, later, in the Steel City Amateur Radio Club in the Pittsburgh area. He was a big sports fan and especially enjoyed all Pittsburgh teams and Penn State.
Jeffrey is preceded in death by his parents, sister (Rita), and brothers (Doug and Larry). He is survived by his sister-in-law Jeanne Rowles, and a niece Brieana (Rowles) Marino and her husband , Craig, and numerous cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Monday January 9, 2023 at Noon with Rev. Julia Piper officiating. Friends and Family will be received from 11AM till the time of services at Noon. Interment will be held in the Crown Crest Memorial Park.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the United Way.
