Obituary for Jennie Errigo Matuzich
Jennie Errigo Matuzich, 97, a resident of Marion Manor Personal Care Home in Curwensville, and formerly of Curwensville and DuBois, passed away Saturday August 13, 2011 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born February 11, 1912 in Curwensville, she was the daughter of Letterio and Carmella (Alessandro) Errigo. Mrs. Matuzich had operated the Jo-Gen Shoppe of ladies apparel in DuBois for many years.
She was a member of St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church in DuBois, the Treasure lake Country Club and a member of the Club’s Ladies Golf League.
She had wed Joseph Matuzich who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother and 3 sisters. John J. Errigo Sr., Elda Marra, Bertha Yacabucci, and Jeanette Thomas.
Surviving are 5 nephews ands a niece. John J. “Jack” Errigo and wife Jean of Curwensville, Michael Errigo and his wife Carolyn of Clearfield, Mickey Yacabucci of St. Marys, James Yacabucci and his wife Ann of San Diego, CA, James Marra of New Orleans, LA, and JoAnn Yacabucci Rice and her husband Jack of Long Beach, CA.
There will be no public visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family with the Revered Father Mark J. Mastrian officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville, PA.
The family suggests contributions be made to either the Oak Hill Cemetery Memorial Fund P.O. Box 68 Curwensville, PA 16833 or St. Timothy’s Church Memorial Fund 306 Walnut Street Curwensville, PA 16833
