Obituary for Jerry K. Grube
Jerry K. Grube, 79, of Clearfield, passed away Monday morning, March 10, 2014 at his residence.

Born September 5, 1934 in St. Marys, he was the son of John and Claudia (Kramer) Grube. Mr. Grube had worked for Stackpole Carbon Factory, had worked as the office manager for Fullington Auto Bus Company, the Clearfield Hospital, and then retired from Kurtz Brothers School Supplies where he was the Manager of the Bid Dept. after 25 years of service in December of 1997.

He served our country during the Korean War in the US Navy serving aboard the USS Spiegel Grove receiving a National Defense medal, a Good Conduct medal, and the Navy Occupation European medal. He was a member of the Clearfield American Legion Post #6, and was a former member of the Clearfield B.P.O.E. Lodge 540 and the Clearfield Fraternal Order of Eagles.

On November 26, 1959 he wed the former Anna Mae Heiberger who survives, along with 3 children. Ruth Rougeux and husband Randy of Olanta, Shirley Morgan and husband Mark of Clearfield, and Steven Grube and wife Terry of Cary, NC. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

At the request of Mr. Grube there will be no public visitation and graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family with Reverend Robert Melgard and Mr. Richard Barkley co-officiating. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde, PA
