Obituary for Joanne Elizabeth Solomon
Joanne E. Solomon 64, of Clearfield passed away Friday December 25, 2015 at Christ The King Manor in DuBois, PA.

Born June 3, 1951 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Casella) Ettaro. Mrs. Solomon had worked as a merchandiser for American Greetings for a number of years, and had also done daycare in her home. She was a 1969 graduate of Clearfield Area High School.

She was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Clearfield where she had been active in the Altar and Rosary Society and also had taught Religious Education.

On September 20, 1969 at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, she wed Mason Charles Solomon who preceded her in death on August 29, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are two children Renee C. Billotte and husband Keith S. of Clearfield and Father Marc J. Solomon of Houtzdale. Also surviving are two grandsons Ian and Luke Billotte of Clearfield and a step granddaughter Justine Billotte of Indiana.

There will be no public visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Clearfield on Wednesday December 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM, with the Father Marc J. Solomon as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Clearfield, PA

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either St. Francis Roman Cayjolic Church Memorial Fund or St. Francis School Endowment Fund 212 South Front Street Clearfield, PA 16830.
