Obituary for Jody Scott Smeal
Jody Scott Smeal, 50, of Clearfield, passed away Tuesday July 19, 2011 at the home of his brother Charles Smeal in Clearfield.
 
Born June 21, 1961 in Clearfield, he was the son of LeRoy and Jane (Teats) Smeal.  Mr. Smeal had been employed by C L Smeal Contracting, and was affiliated with the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Clearfield.
 
Surviving is his mother of Woodland, 5 brothers and a sister.  David Smeal and his wife Linda, Tom Smeal, Randy Smeal and his wife Alyce and Charles Smeal and his wife Debbie all of Clearfield, Lorrie Matthews and her companion Ron Matthews of Grampian, and James Smeal of Woodland.  Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his father, a brother Gary Smeal, and a nephew Brock Peters.
 
Funeral Services for Mr. Smeal will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Tuesday evening July 26, 2011 at 7:00 PM, with the Reverend Samuel Mains officiating.
 
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until time of services at 7:00 PM.
