Obituary for Joyce L. Spencer
Joyce L. Spencer 75 of Grampian passed away Wednesday October 7, 2009 at the Dubois Regional Medical Center.
Born October 31, 1933 in Grampian she was the daughter of Ivan and Violet (Seger) Bonsall. She had worked at the Curwensville Area School District as a cook.  She attended the Grampian Church of God.
On December 18, 1953 at the Grampian Methodist Church she wed Duane Spencer who survives along with 3 children Edward Spencer and his wife Carolyn of Stronach, Todd Spencer and Dawn Reed and her husband Rick all of Grampian. 4 grandchildren, a brother Dean Bonsall and his wife Charlene of FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents brothers Ed, Jack, Paul, George Bonsall, sisters June Livingston, and Geraldine Bonsall.
Services for Mrs. Spencer will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday October 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Gust Maderia officiating. Interment will follow in the Friends cemetery.
Friends will be received at the Funeral Home on Friday October 9, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and on Saturday from 9 till the time of services at 11:00 AM
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity of the Donors Choice.
