Obituary for Joyce Turner Mila
Joyce Turner Mila, 72, of Curwensville, passed away Tuesday August 4, 2009 at the home of her son Larry Turner after a lengthy illness.



Born August 17, 1936 In Clearfield, she was the daughter of Guido L. and Mildred V. (McKee) Pistilli.  She had been employed by Big Wheel in New York.  She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witness of Philipsburg.



She had wed Robert O. Mila on April 10, 1992 and who preceded her in death on July 17, 2006.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son Robert L. Turner in 2002.



Surviving are 7 children:  Laurino W. Turner and wife Debra of Curwensville, Kathleen A. Janocha and Chris L. Turner both of DuBois, Douglas A. Turner and wife Joann of Mahaffey, Lance A. Turner and wife Beth of Virginia, Guido J. Turner and wife Martha of Bigler, and Teresa M. Turner and friend of Canandaiqua, NY.



Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and two sisters: Kathleen Biancuzzo and husband John of Curwensville and Christine Smeal of Newburg, NY.



Services for Mrs. Mila will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Friday August 7, 2009 at 6:00 PM, with Dr. Ronald Herring officiating.
   

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 3:30 PM until time of services.  The family suggests contributions be made to the Nittany Hospice of DuBois.
