Curwensville: Karen Shaw, 76, of Curwensville passed away Sunday November 5, 2023 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Born April 10, 1947 in Clearfield she was the daughter of Leland and Louise (Miles) Shaw. She had worked for Clearfield Hospital for 35 years in the Medical Records Department.
She is survived by brothers and sister Jack (Shirley) Thurstin of Curwensville, Sherri Gill (William) of Olanta, and Darryl Shaw of LeBanon, PA, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Marjorie Munchak, brother Leland Shaw Jr.
Funeral Services will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc of Curwensville on Thursday November 9, 2023 at 1 PM with Pastor Don Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Historic Crown Crest Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home on Thursday November 9, 2023 from 11 AM till the time of services at 1 PM.
